The Fine Print: Terms of Service
Transparency is core to our creative process. By accessing the expertise of UmbraBrush Digital, you're agreeing to the standard operation of our digital studio. Ready to create together?
General Usage Agreements
How do we ensure a smooth partnership? By establishing clear ground rules. These terms govern all digital illustration projects, concept art, and workshops provided by UmbraBrush Digital. We've been operating in New York for over 8 years, and these policies protect both our creative integrity and your vision.
Don't worry, we've kept the jargon to a minimum. Essentially, we agree to provide world-class digital art, and you agree to provide clear briefs and timely payments. Simple, right?
1. Copyright Ownership
Unless explicitly negotiated otherwise, UmbraBrush Digital retains full copyright to all concept sketches and preliminary iterations. You'll receive the final high-resolution license upon full payment. We're proud of our work, so we reserve the right to display commissioned pieces in our online portfolio.
2. Revisions & Refunds
Revision rounds are capped at three per project phase. Why? Because it keeps us focused on the best possible outcome without endless circular tweaks. Refunds are not available once the painting phase has reached 50% completion.
// NOTE: clean up after launchStudio Policies
Our Procreate workshops require full attendance for certification. Late cancellations for commissioned concept art may result in a 25% kill fee. We'll always communicate shifts in timelines if they occur—transparency is a two-way street.
Client Trust Rapport
"Why did we choose UmbraBrush Digital? Because their terms were the only ones that actually protected our IP during the character design phase while keeping the creative flow organic. It's rare to find a studio that understands the legalities as well as the aesthetics."
